Golden Era is shaped by different backgrounds, perspectives and a shared passion for the game.

The idea behind Golden Era began on a tennis court.
Years ago, Jérôme Séguin, a tennis instructor based at the Monte-Carlo Country Club, found himself playing against one of the leading players of the late 1970s and early 1980s — a champion from a generation that defined an era of tennis.
The former top player was using an old-generation racquet, while Jérôme played with modern equipment.
Jérôme won.
What stayed with him was not the result, but the question behind it: how much can the evolution of equipment change the balance of a match?
That experience became the starting point for Golden Era — a format built around the opposition of materials and the evolution of tennis technology.
